Security Trust sheet

Patient data, protected at every step of the meal.

A diet order carries clinical information. MedMeals protects it from the dietitian’s first entry to the final bill, with encryption, role-based access and a complete audit trail.

Security measures Checklist
Data security
Patient and order data is encrypted in transit and at rest, on secure cloud infrastructure with regular backups.
Role-based access
Granular permissions for dietitians, nursing, kitchen, billing and admin, so every person sees only what their role needs.
Full audit logs
Diet orders, diet changes, orders, deliveries, clearances and charges are timestamped against the user who made them.
Compliance ready
Supports NABH documentation and aligns with India’s digital-health data standards.
HIMS and HMS integration
Connects with your HIMS or HMS, so patient and billing data flows without re-typing.
Dedicated support
Account management, SLA-backed response and a responsive helpdesk for your teams.
Reliability
A scalable, monitored platform engineered for hospital operations that run around the clock.

Every action leaves a record.

When a diet changes, an order is placed or a tray is cleared, MedMeals records who did it and when. The log is exportable for NABH, internal audit and finance.

Security questions

Still have a question? Ask our team or call +91 79845 98296.

What patient data does MedMeals hold?

MedMeals holds the information needed to serve and bill meals safely: patient identifiers such as the UHID, admission, ward and bed, diet orders, allergies and intolerances, meal orders, delivery records and meal charges. Access is limited by role.

Who can see a patient’s diet and allergy information?

Access is set by role. Dietitians, nursing, kitchen, billing and admin users each see what their work requires, and every change to a diet or an order is logged against the user who made it.

How does MedMeals support NABH audits?

Every diet order, diet change, delivery and charge is timestamped and exportable, so dietary records for accreditation and internal audits come from the system instead of paper registers.
